1111 Today (“the App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a digital wellbeing and reflection application created by the Time2Angel project.
We are committed to protecting user privacy and complying with Google Play and Apple App Store policies.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the 1111 Today mobile application or the related website 1111.today.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary for the functionality and improvement of the App.

2. 1. Information You Provide Voluntarily

When using certain features, you may provide:

Used to personalize the experience within the app.

✔ Email Address

Used for:

  • account creation
  • communication and customer support
  • optional email marketing (only with user consent)
  • sending updates or magic-link–based login in future versions

We send marketing emails only with your explicit consent.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

✔ Date of Birth

Used only for:

  • delivering personalized card content
  • age-based personalization (not for identification)

✔ Personal Notes / Journal Entries

Users may create private notes inside the App.
These notes:

  • are securely stored in our backend database
  • are accessible only to the user
  • are not analyzed, sold, shared, or processed for advertising
  • are not used for automated decision-making
  • exist strictly as a journaling feature within the app

You may request deletion of your notes at any time.

Notes are strictly private and never visible to other users.
They are not automatically shared across devices unless you explicitly choose to restore or sync them in future versions of the App.


2.2. Automatically Collected Information

The App may collect limited, non-personal technical information necessary for app stability and analytics:

This includes:

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • App version
  • Anonymous usage analytics (Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics)
  • Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry)

Important:

We do not collect:

  • phone numbers
  • contacts
  • photos
  • precise location
  • advertising ID
  • device identifiers such as IMEI or MAC address
  • any sensitive or personal data

Analytics tools do not receive personal identifiers from us.

All analytics events are aggregated and anonymized.

This approach fully complies with Google Play’s User Data, Sensitive Permissions, Device and Network Abuse, and Deceptive Behavior policies.

We send marketing emails only with your explicit consent. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Device logs and technical diagnostics are not linked to your personal information and cannot be used to identify you.


2.3. No Sensitive Permissions

The App does not request access to:

  • Camera
  • Microphone
  • Contacts
  • Call logs
  • SMS
  • Precise or background location
  • Nearby device permissions
  • Installed apps

We comply with Google’s Permissions and APIs That Access Sensitive Information requirements.


2.4. API and Backend Services

1111 Today uses backend services hosted at:

These secure API calls are used solely to:

  • generate card content
  • deliver inspirational messages
  • verify in-app purchase entitlements
  • support app functionality
  • improve service stability

All communication happens through encrypted HTTPS.

We do not send to our servers:

  • personal data
  • contact information
  • device identifiers
  • payment data
  • precise location

Server logs may include anonymized technical data (e.g., error codes) but never contain personally identifiable information.

Notes and personal data provided by the user are stored securely in our private backend database
(hosted on https://1111.today and https://time2angel.com) using industry-standard encryption and access controls.


3. In-App Purchases & Payments

3.1. Mobile Purchases

All purchases in 1111 Today are processed exclusively via:

  • Google Play Billing (Android)
  • Apple In-App Purchase (IAP) (iOS)

We do not collect or store credit card details, billing addresses, or transaction information.

Google and Apple securely handle all payments.


4. How We Use Information

We use collected information only to:

  • ensure the App functions correctly
  • fix crashes and improve stability
  • understand general usage patterns (non-personally identifiable)
  • verify purchases
  • process support requests

We do not:

  • sell data
  • share user data with advertisers
  • build advertising profiles
  • track users across other apps or services

5. Data Sharing

We use trusted third-party services:

  • Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics – anonymous usage analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics – crash diagnostics
  • Sentry – error monitoring
  • RevenueCat – verifying in-app purchase entitlements

These services receive only anonymized technical data.

None of these receive:

  • names
  • emails
  • notes
  • birthdates
  • payment data
  • device identifiers tied to a person

We do not share data with any advertising networks or data brokers.


6. Device and Network Abuse

The App does not engage in:

  • hidden processes
  • unauthorized device modifications
  • background data misuse
  • excessive battery consumption
  • malware or harmful behavior

We fully comply with Google’s Device and Network Abuse policy.


7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If you believe a child has contacted us, email support@time2angel.com, and we will delete the data.


8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures:

  • encrypted HTTPS
  • secure hosting
  • access restrictions

While no system is perfect, we continuously improve security to protect technical data.
